It has been a jam-packed 2 months. Homework has become my life. As I average 40 hours of homework a week most of my vitamin D comes artificially as the only time I often see the sun is in my 15 minute commute to school each day, if it’s not raining. However, this is what I signed up for.
Yet despite this hectic schedule I have managed to break routine and explore twice thus far and indulge myself in the Beautiful province of British Columbia.
My class and I were fortunate to have the opportunity to travel up to Hope at the end of October, and outside of our scheduled sessions we were able to visit the nearby Othello Tunnels. My photos really do no justice to the beauty of area as it blossomed with the crisp, warm colours of autumn running up the mountains. The sheer enormity of the landscape around us was enough to make us feel like ants in a land of giants as the water ran a deep blue through the canyons.
My second outing was a nice afternoon stroll through Deep Cove as the snow began to top the mountains, layering the vast scenery.
As much as he work may be, I am still so blessed to be able to be on this journey and share it with so many people along the way.
