On the road. One last time…

Updated: Jul 6, 2019

We have recently returned from our final class road trip before heading out on our respective outreaches.

We commenced this two week trip in the town of Dalby where we spent the majority of the week in lectures. However, amidst our lectures we had the lovely opportunity to work with the local Presbyterian and Baptist Churches, doing some painting and helping with the weekly youth programs.

Then, off to Warwick for the second week and boy were we in for a treat! The town of warwick was so welcoming and hospitable to us, and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous! We had a lot of amazing opportunities to serve in the community, including work in 5 different schools and 6 churches where we facilitated many activities and presentations for the youth. It was such a privilege to be able to meet so many amazing people and to be trusted with so many activities. Scots PGC College was particularly hospitable as they welcomed us on to their campus for the whole week and kept us well fed.

On Saturday we were treated by local leaders with a trip to the Queen Mary Falls where we had a BBQ and fed the local exotic birds. I also got to see Kangaroos in the wild this week for the first time (Only took 3 Months)!

All in all it has been a pretty fantastic week! What a amazing last road trip!

Time to prep for Malaysia!
