Malaysia in Photos

During my time in Malaysia I was very limited in what I could share as I did not bring my computer with me. However, since then I have been able to upload and sort my photos and I am very happy to share some with you today! Here are some photos to give you a more unique view of the land, if you want to see some more of my favourites you can see them on my portfolio website here.

There was never any shortage of rainbows in Malaysia as it rained on a near daily basis.

Jungle trekking.

Jangkar Waterfalls

Harvesting plants for dinner in Sebauyu

Cantonese Fried Mee, one of my absolute favourite dishes!

Entering into the fairy caves.

A neat suspension bridge across the ravine at the Santubong falls

They enjoy adding corn flavour to everything, including Ice Cream.

The building we helped construct at the Cheshire care centre.

Sunset in Semetan

Fishers rising early in the morning for their catch

Daisy the goat

Kuching, the city of Cats!

One of the neat little farms we visited.

That night this candle was our primary source of light…. That and our iPhones. None the less, it was a very cool experience to see the potential one candle has to light a whole room.

Later that night we were treated to one of the most amazing night skies I have ever seen.

Justice League or Power Rangers?

This road in particular I found fascinating. A highway, in an eerie, abandoned state after it was created to go to an airport that was never built.

Our trip to Malaysia was the opportunity of a lifetime and I am so blessed to have been able to be a part of that journey, meet so many amazing people and see so many cool things!

Terimakasih Malaysia!
